The time may come where the styling of the default SSRPM email templates need to be adjusted. These are the steps to replace an existing template with an updated version.


Exporting an existing template:

1. From within the SSRPM admin console click the 'reporting' menu > 'Manage' > 'Templates...'.

Depending on the setting in the SSRPM profile there are five different email messages that can be sent out by SSRPM.  These are listed by language.


2. Scroll to and highlight the desired template to export.

3. Click the Export button.

4. Choose the file export location and click OK. 

5. Navigate to the export location and edit the HTML as needed. I would suggest you use the current template as a base for the new template. The new template will need to have the same file name as the old template to be referenced correctly by SSRPM. 

There are several SSRPM keywords that can be referenced in your new email template. For a full list see section '7.3 Appendix C: SSRPM Keywords' of the administrators Guide located in the installation folder of the SSRPM admin console (C:\Program Files (x86)\Tools4ever\SSRPM\Admin Console\Documentation).


Once the new and improved HTML email template is completed we will need to use the following steps to re-import the template.


From within the 'SSRPM - Manage Report Templates' window:

1. Scroll to the notification template you would like to replace and select it.

3. Click the 'Delete' button.

4. Answer yes to the 'are you sure you want to delete' dialog.

The template list will refresh and the record for the removed template will be gone.

5. Click the 'Import...' button

6. Choose the edited template file to import and click OK. 

You may receive an error that the template already exists, as long as the new template name template is back in the list everything is OK.

7. Click the 'close' button.
